Isaiah, 10:20-34 The Remnant

Isaiah 10:20 Amplified

And it shall be in that day that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped the of the house of Jacob, shall no more lean upon him who smote them, but will lean upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

How has the pestilence in our present time in the earth caused the remnant of the people of the Lord to lean upon HIM in truth?

How is the Lord drawing you to seek His face in the midst of difficult circumstances?

Read Isaiah 10:21-34 and list all that the Lord has commanded in this passage?

Who is the one credited for administrating both the punishment and deliverance of the people of both in this passage and at present time? For what purpose has this been accomplished?

What are the attributes or characteristics of the Lord that you see demonstrated in this passage?

Now think about the present world in which we live in as Ambassadors of the Lord, how should we be reacting to the circumstances in our lives, both on a personal level and as the church?

Are you angry, upset, fearful, worried about the state of this world? Why?

Are you living on your strength instead of the LORD, who is allowing all these circumstances in your life and the world, today? Why?

Read Proverbs 3:5-6 and Psalm 16 and write out a prayer if possible and jot down any thoughts that the Lord may give to you?
